The Sentinel reads two higher-timeframe trend filters before making a single move — only when both confirm a bull regime does she start hunting 7-day breakouts on the 2H field. She strikes, rides the trend with a trailing guard that never retreats, and the moment the regime darkens she leaves the battlefield entirely. The bear years 2018, 2022 and 2026 saw her take zero trades while BTC lost 27–65%. Leverage is your choice, not a different product: run her at 2x for the validated default, or 3x for the violent version — identical signals either way.

Rides winners with an adaptive trailing stop that only ratchets in her favor. Goes fully flat — automatically — the moment the regime flips off bull. Leverage (2x/3x) is a script setting, not a separate strategy.
BTC/USDT breakout strategy on the 2H chart, long/flat, leverage tier (2x or 3x) chosen in the script's inputs. Enters on fresh momentum strength, but only inside a confirmed long-term bull regime. Exits via an adaptive ratcheting trail, or goes flat the moment the regime flips. Walk-forward validated: parameters frozen on 2018–2022 data, then tested once on untouched 2023–2026 — +231% at 2x (max drawdown −33%) or +345% at 3x (max drawdown −47%), ~14 trades/yr, avg hold ~5 days either way. Full backtested history 2018–2026 (TradingView verified, republished script): +4,021% at 2x (max drawdown −42%, 116 trades, PF 1.61), +10,801% at 3x (max drawdown −58%, PF 1.45). Bear markets are sat out entirely by design. Signals fire on confirmed bar close. No repainting. Hard timeframe guard blocks entries on any chart except 2H.

- Confirmed bull-regime filter — two independent long-term trend checks (daily and weekly), computed from completed bars only (no repainting)
- Fresh multi-day momentum breakout on the 2H chart — enters only on new strength, never on a dip
- Long only, one position at a time — no shorts, ever
Exit Conditions
- Adaptive trailing stop that locks in gains as price extends — ratchets only, never gives back an inch
- Force-flat at next open if the regime flips off bull
- Hard timeframe guard — entries blocked on any chart except 2H
When & How to Use
You don't time The Sentinel — her regime gate does it for you. In a confirmed bull regime she hunts breakouts (~14 trades/yr, avg hold ~5 days); in bear or neutral regimes she holds cash and takes zero trades, which is capital protection, not a malfunction. Pick your leverage tier in the script's Inputs: 2x for the validated default and survivable drawdowns, 3x for the identical signals at a more violent ride if you accept −47%+ swings.
